How To Sync Your Shopify Settings

This guide is for those using the Legacy version of Intuitive Shipping. If you’re using the New version of the app, go here.

Not sure which version you’re using? Find out here.

Intuitive Shipping syncs some of your shop data to assist with the setup process. This includes your primary email address, the store’s default location (used for calculating live carrier rates and distance-based rates), and your default currency.

Intuitive Shipping also syncs your Products, Collections Shipping Zones and, if needed, Fulfillment Services.

Any time you update your Shopify settings, we recommend that you sync your data again to ensure Intuitive Shipping is using the latest information.

Sync Your Shopify Settings

1) Click Settings on the main menu.

2) In the Actions section, click the Sync button beside any of the Settings categories affected by your recent changes.

Products and Collections are synced automatically once you have selected a billing plan and activated your account. However, if you make a lot of changes to your Products at one time, we recommend manually resyncing just to be safe.

When using the SmartBoxing™ packing system in your Live Rate Shipping Method, or any other volume-based settings that require dimensions, you must ensure that Product syncing is up to date in order to add dimensions to your new products.

Syncing will take a few seconds to occur. You can leave the Settings page while syncing is in progress.
